  Canoe and kayak rentals or bring your own. Paddle 8.5 miles down Rock Springs River. Fishing and swimming. Parking and rides back available. Water is 72 degrees year round.

  Consider launching for $3 at Orange County Park's Camp Joy next door if you own your own kayak.
  
  My kayak was packed in so tightly with King's Landing yellow canoes that both sides of my kayak now have long, yellow paint scrapes on them from the loading guys dragging canoes off the kayak trailer and along the side of my kayak.
  
  I paid a $10 launch fee plus another $10 shuttle fee at King's Landing. On the return shuttle, 23 passengers were packed in, so many of us had to stand for the 20-minute ride back to King's Landing. Not what I expected for spending $17 above what I could have spent launching at Camp Joy.
